The Julie Johnson School of Dancing was formed in 1989 in Sutton Coldfield. Subjects taught by Julie include Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Acrobatics, Lyrical and Stage.

The syllabus followed is that of the British Theatre Dance Association, which is recognised by the Joint Examining Board and is a member of the Council for Dance Education and Training.

Pupils are accepted into the school from 3 years through to professional level.

Classes are taught every Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday at the Deanery School, Fox Hollies Road, Walmley, Sutton Coldfield. There is a large car park and changing facilities.

AIMS: To teach dance so that pupils enjoy the music and the movements

OBJECTIVES: To teach to a high Standard so that pupils perform well and attain good grades in examinations
